It's your choice to become a history maker.

Join me as we look at the choices we have to make a difference in our life and in the lives of people around the world. Sometimes, we get stuck upon the idea that in a political season like we're in now, that it's all about "what I want" and "who I want".
The choices before us today are going to be great and it's going to take some wisdom and a willingness to look beyond what we want as individuals. The stakes are too high to just hide and watch. This is not a time to make a change for change sake or to be willing to pick the best of the worst. This is a time for us to place the very best in the place reserved for them to serve this nation at this particular time.
Ron Paul, would have us withdraw and stay home. Fine, but we also have a moral responsibility to protect our nation and it's allies abroad. "Peace in our time" was declared almost 70 years ago, and while we were at peace; millions were being killed. We're in a new type of war today. We're in a war we were not prepared to fight because it's more than a physical or purely material war. There are spiritaul elements which can't be denied. Even though most of the Democrats have called for further negotiation and a withdrawal of some sort, the enemy sees this as a victory and a further opportunity to advance deeper into the heart of our land. I encourage you to read of the historical strategic plan of Islam written about by a noted British scholar, David Pawson. You can find some of his books at www.amazon.com.
Let me make this very clear; when President Bush made the final decision to invade Iraq, he made it on his knees in prayer. When we as a nation heard the news of the decision we backed our president and our elected representatives in the Senate and House of Representatives. Some voted with and some against the plan. Those votes are recorded in the Senate and Congressional records. No one ever said this was going to be an easy. President Bush has never waivered from the idea this was going to be a hard fought war, the likes of which we have never seen before. Our enemies know our history in recent years and they know they can develop a negative backlash from the public. They have successfully been playing the "Vietnam card", and many political leaders keep giving them cards to play with.
Now, almost six years later, President Bush still holds to his initial premise. The large portions American public left their willingness to support the president, the Democratic leadership has taken a defeat and withdrawal mentality, and many Republicans have either joined in or just won't say where they truly stand in support of the president. Result, we have national leadship which gets nothing done to defeat the enemy, gives only gratuitous support to our military leadership and troops, has developed no far reaching plans to help support the people of Iraq, and generates devisiness and negativity from the mass media. Also, most Americans don't even know or think about the attacks which've been thwarted here and abroad. The fact over 40 nations have suffered terrorist attacks in the past 5 years. They also either forget or disregard how well our national economy is doing while fighting a global war on terrorism. Those who elected a Democratic majority must ask themselves; "What have they accomplished for me, my state, the nation, or the world?" "Why is the approval rating of the congress less than that of the president? I would then ask, if they haven't accomplished anything, why keep them in office? It's the proverbial idea of being crazy if you keep doing the same thing and expect new results. We have some great choices to make which will either move us forward to victory and greater prosperity, or see us once again retreat and loose our strength and vitality as a national power. If this second portion is true, who do you want to fill the void we will leave by this action?
Here's my point to ponder. How do you want your children and grandchildren to view their nation? However, getting the right answer is not so simple; for freedom has never been easy or free. You either take the responsibility to learn, study, and present the issues at hand; and then support a person who will uphold what you believe, or you just sit back, turn the other cheek again until it's black and blue, and murmur and complain about what you're not willing to support or fight for.
The Democratic party wants you to support them and their candidate(s), and they promise to take care of you from the cradle to the grave. Whereas, the Republican party will ask you to be engaged and help to work out your own future. Our nation was founded upon placing ones life and fortune (either very small or large) at risk to further the freedom and democracy of this nation. There is a difference in basic philosphy, means, and results.
We'll either remain "one nation under God"; and indivisible and an inclusive nation who is run by the representative will of the people, or we'll become a nation whose courts and leaders deny God has a place or function in this nation, and who believe THEY and THEIR decisions are the will of the people. In the latter case we'll have elected leaders who follow a pattern similar to the enemies we've fought and defeated in the past, and who are willing to embrace those within Islam or other nations who have a desire to overcome us by any means necessary.
The mission is XTREME, but the victory will insure a legacy which will outlive us as we build a future for our grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and maintain the dreams and visions of our founding fathers. It's your choice to help to build it up or let others tare it down.

The Bridge Builder

The victory won't be won by building a up a fence based upon facts alone; but it will be won by building up our national strength and will to know and exercise the true truth. The truth which protects and promises life, and a belief and desire to help all men pursue liberty and happiness according to the laws of this nation. daf
